Colloquium “Strain in Metal-Halide Perovskites and other Emerging Nanomaterials”

AdminCinn News

A mini-colloquium on “Strain in Metal-Halide Perovskites and other Emerging Nanomaterials” is being held on 3rd-4th September 2020 within the CMD2020GEFES.

CMD2020GEFES is a large international conference covering all aspects of condensed matter physics. The conference combines the biennial meeting of the Condensed Matter Divisions of the Spanish Royal Physics Society (RSEF-GEFES) and of the European Physical Society (EPS-CMD).

The mini-colloquium will focus on the recent progress on the static and elastic strain engineering of the optical and phononic properties of nanomaterials including metal halide perovskites nanostructures, nanowires, van der Waals bidimensional materials or quantum dots. It will cover advances on the active strain tuning of their physical properties as well as the influence of strain on the performance of nanomaterials for practical applications.
