Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology Research Center (CINN) can offer experiences in novel formulations of inorganic antimicrobials. These new inorganic antimicrobials possess null toxicity, have proven to be highly effective against a wide range of microorganisms, effective against of one of the most common pathogens: e.g. E.coli, P.aeruginosa, L.pneumophila, M.luteus, S.aureus, MRSA, S.epidermidis, S.oralis, S.mutans, C.crusei, I.orientalis
These materials are significantly able to inhibit bacterial growth, minimize bacterial adhesion and prevent biofilm formation. Their antimicrobial mechanism of action is completely different from those of traditional antibiotics which have not yet been associated with development of resistant. This innovation combines best in class antimicrobial function without compromising the material properties.
