The CINN has been awarded the “Sagrario Martínez Carrera” Seal of Excellence
- The award comes with a grant of 300,000 euros to support cutting-edge research, strengthen internationalization and attract talent over the next three years.
The Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology Research Center has been awarded the “Aspira-MAX Sagrario Martínez Carrera” Seal of Excellence, a distinction that attests to the institution’s scientific quality and strategic strength.
This award includes a grant of 300,000 euros for the 2026–2028 period, which will be allocated to the implementation of the CINN’s new Excellence Plan.
A Boost to Scientific Competitiveness
The primary objective of the award’s funding is to strengthen CINN’s position as an international leader in Nanotechnology, Quantum Technologies, Multifunctional Materials, and Nanomedicine. The Excellence Plan will enable, among others:
- The modernization of key infrastructure.
- The implementation of programs to attract research talent.
- Strengthening internationalization activities
- Promoting the transfer of knowledge to industry and society.
The Sagrario Martínez Seal of Excellence not only recognizes academic output but also rewards the ability of centers to design forward-looking strategies with social impact.
