Quantum Simulations

Quantum Simulation and Computing are highly dynamic fields, offering the only practical way to tackle some of the most relevant problems in physics and chemistry. For this reason, numerous platforms are being explored, among which arrays of neutral atoms trapped in optical tweezers and excited to Rydberg states are currently positioned as one of the most promising technologies.

The CINN is developing a quantum simulator based on this Rydberg atom platform and is investigating how to exploit the different types of interactions between Rydberg atoms through the design of quantum spin models.
