In March 2025, the CINN established an equity committee with the aim of promoting and ensuring gender equality. Since the CINN is a joint research centre that involves staff from the CSIC and the University of Oviedo, the activities of this committee are carried out within the framework established by the Equality Plans of both institutions.

Support in the implementation of the in-force Equality Plans of the CSIC and the University of Oviedo.
Dissemination of the equality policies of the CSIC and the University of Oviedo
Analysis of the situation regarding equality at CINN and promotion of equality in its organisational and functional structures.
